On the brighter side, I held my tongue just right and it only took 45 minutes to install from the time I opened the box until I took it for a test drive. I guess I got lucky or am exceptionally talented in mechanics. |
I placed my Hellwig order on Tuesday and received it today!
I guess it's because they are also in California. The order volume may have dropped a tad since the group buy so they got my order up and running; also the part was in stock. However, I won't be installing it until the weekend so I'm holding my breath; hopefully I have all the correct parts included.
Now, the red bar's finish is a bit bumpy but shiny, is that how yours came? I heard all the complaints about the finish on the black bar. The little box with all the small parts was hot glued to the box; it was like someone glueing a quarter on the sidewalk and then watching people try to pick it up, that's what happened to me. Doh!
Weighed the bar and it came out to 18.5lbs.
Other than that I can't wait to get this installed right and do my first test drive.
