It seems like my engine runs better and is more responsive now that i ran about 250 miles with that gas, but it seemed like it has less power when the techron gas was in there, and after filling up today i found out i got 13!! MPG on the last tank. I constantly get about 16.5 and dump techron in and get 13 what! I take it the techron makes the gas less potent or something?
Well I filled up with 91 octane today, first time ive used that as i usually get 87 and it really seems like the truck sounds better, runs better and actually has more power. Placebo? Maybe but i like it! Now only time will tell if my mileage will go back up. If not then something is really screwed up.

Saw the same thing with my 95 avalon. Run better but took a hit on milleage per gallon. I forget what was the mpg, but definitely enough to raise my eyebrow. I watch the mpg closely, so when something goes wrong, I know it right away... Mpg went back up to normal after that gas tank was used.
