Actually it's about the same as it was in Southern California (lived there 35 years been back here since 98) when it'd rain after the summer season. Tough on traffic but good for economy (body shops).
People are the same everywhere when it comes to a weather change they've forgotten how to slow down for conditions. Unfortunately the innocent drivers get sucked into the others ineptness
