Well, I'm giving in to the service department and footing the bill for a new (reman) tranny at $3200 (tax bringing it to $3500).
I would do the used deal, but the tranny is only 2300 of that and I would rather have the reman warrantied at that cost that a used one for a little less. Ah well, I still like it. Just pisses me off I have to replace it. Transmissions should last over 80k, but maybe that's just my optimism.
