I actually purchased the aux2car because I want to use more than an iPod so I'm not familiar with how the ipod2car charges. For my iPod, I also purchased

http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=2103452 just under the existing switches on the "Console Box Bezel" (shown on the pages attached to previous post). If anyone is interested in more details, let me know.
