Default Valve shim removal tool
Hi,
I just signed up today and already need some help/advice. Does anyone know where I can buy the Toyota tool kit for removal and replacement of the valve shims? I have a 90 Corolla and one cylinder (#2) is low compression. It has only 70 psi. and the other three are all 195+. I checked the valve lash and found one of the intakes @ .017 and one of the exhausts @ .0015 on #2 cylinder. Could these being out of spec cause the low compression? I would buy the removal tool and bring them into spec if I could find a source. Can anyone help?? TIA for your help
