Default IS Shocks vs. Hellwig Sway Bar

Since I got my '06 Tundra DC SR5 w/TRD Dual (no off-road pkg), I've been reading alot about the many mods that can be done. I want to put a sway bar but after reading the posts, I realized that sway bars are not suitable for off-road, due to flex...of course the quick disconnects are awesome (but pricey). So then I'm thinking, maybe using the more stiffer 4X4 shocks (i.e. Bilsteins' Ivan Stuart shocks) perhaps I get more stability. Pricing wise, they come about the same...hellwig w/ quick disconnects.....vs. IS shocks.

If I'm not understanding this right, correct me..please...your input is much desired.

thanks
