Default Easy DRL installation...

If any one is intersted in making their '06 4Runner Sport with daytime running lights, the instructions are as follows;

Remove the engine compartment fuse center cover.
You'll see this;

The blue relay I am pointing to is the "FOG" relay. Remove this with a pair of pliers (gently) and store in your vehicle.

This is a picture with the relay removed;

Get a 3" or 4" inch piece wire, strip the ends and soldier a flat spade terminal to each end.
Insert one spade terminal into bottom terminal (in the picture above) of the removed FOG relay and the other into ignition side (the empty space shown below) terminal.

That's it!
What's nice about this set up is that you are not cutting or removing any of the factory wiring. You are just removing a relay and installing a jumper wire between the fog light wires and the ignition side.

Now your fog lights will come on everytime the ignition is "on" or the vehicle is started.
PLUS, the "fog" indicator will illuminate in your instrument cluster letting you know they are on.
