Hello, Everyone
I just bought my first Toyota (2006 Tundra DC, 4WD, Tow Package). About the only things I could think of to add to it are a spray in bed
liner and step rails. I've got about 750 miles on it already and really enjoy it. I'm getting 17.3 MPG so far, which includes about 50% "highway" driving and the rest is in town. I'm surprised to get mileage like this and have been told it may get better. I don't know if this is typical, but for a truck this big I expected it to be a lot less. I'm not complaining, though.
I've been driving pickup trucks for many years and like the Tundra better than any of them. But then again, I've never had a new truck before either. I am hoping to learn from these forums and will try to refrain from asking stupid questions, but if I do, I hope you guys forgive me.
