Looks like it is the same for the 2005 4-Runner. I was real close to this point. One change I might make is to add a switch on the lower left of the dash, there is a place for one. Then run two wires to the box and come in near the top(there is space by the box mount) and put the wires where you had the jumper. This way I can turn them off at night if I do not want them on.
