Default Re: New hybrid Tundra would you buy one if offered?

The current warranty on Toyota's hybrid vehicle batteries is 8 years/100,000 miles. You can buy a lot of gas with $6000 though.

The hybrid Tundra would have other benefits though. More power, with the addition of the electric motors. A potentially monstrous increase in torque (the little Prius electric motor puts out 298 ft-lbs by itself) with 100% of the electric-motor-produced torque available from 0 rpm through the entire range.

The people who buy diesels for the torque and not the way it sounds might be interested in this "miniature locomotive" setup.
