I just installed the Metra 44PW22 antenna in my RX7 this past weekend (hmmm . . . might have to think about it for my Tundra). Anyway, to answer your question, yes the antenna does have a relay. If you looked at that Circuit City link posed above, the relay is that plastic box clipped to the side if the mast housing. The antenna requires both switched and unswitched power. It does require, also, 11 1/2" of clearance. If you think about getting one, Try amazon.com. Mine was $54.29 with shipping . . . not the $99 circuit City wants.
