Rob, I agree that one should always consult your local laws regarding DRL's or additional lighting.
Here in IL, there are no laws regarding DRL's as long as they are a factory or OEM lighting....aftermarket or additional lighting might be a different story though. All I'm doing is using the OEM lighting as DRL.
I had an '04 Highlander that had the low beams "on" (85% or so) all the (day) time for DRL's...factory installed. How would that play out in VA in regards to their laws?
