Just my experience in 4 wheeling. It is wheel base, the reason toyota used smaller than 4 runner frame. Reason jeeps are so good. The new taco wheel length from front to rear is crazy. It bottoms out so much it is unreal. FJ is ten times better off road than the h2 and h3. But about even with the jeeps, with a better engine IMO.
