Default Re: 06 Tacoma clutch problem

No, unfortunately there are no updates from me.

I am also still having the problem, but I doubt that Toyota will do anything about this after hearing that people with '02-'04 Taco's have the same problem and it was never fixed.

If this is the case, then this is my first and last Toyota. Very unfortunate, as I love the truck in every other aspect, but this is just plain unacceptable.

Towards the end of this year I am planning on using the Lemon Law to give it back if there is no fix by then.

Last weekend we went on a camping trip, towing our little camper (about 3,000 lbs). I had to get going on a hill, and it was just ridiculous. The rig was shaking so bad that I am surprised that the transmission did not fall out.

Yep, legendary Toyota quality. I have owned 8 brand new cars / trucks over the years (all stick shifts), have towed a 6,000lbs boat up the ramp all the time (with a stick shift Dodge Ram), but have never faced such a pathetic problem that was "unfixable".

Yes, I am upset after parting with almost $30K.
