I just bought a Prodigy brake controller on my 04 Tundra. You can buy a wiring harness that plugs directly into the plug behind the drivers side kick panel and into the controller. No splicing of wires needed. Took me 20 minutes to install the controller. The harness is only 10 bucks at rjays.com. and worth every penny. By the way don't lose the harness supplied in the glove box if you have the tow package Toyota wants $39.99 for it and you still have to splice all the wires. Rjays also sells the Prodigy for $99.00 best price I found anywhere.
