I have an '06 TRD Sport, and while I would call it a little "shifty", I haven't felt any shutter in the tranny. I actually have had 3 different chevy blazers over the last 10 years, and this is by far a more solid feeling trans. I have howver noticed the surging when I am stopped. It is to the point that if I don't keep firm pressure on the brake, I could rear end someone. I'm curious if this is related to the other torque converter issue. Anyone else have the surge w/o the shudder??
