Sounds almost like a class-action lawsuit in the works against Toyota if this doesn't get fixed soon. I can't afford a new windshield every week for the next few years, and I let the dealership know this. If anyone else has had their windshield cracked, let's pull our resources together and see what we can do here.
I have been looking to buy an FJ as a 2nd vehicle, and I am shocked that dealers are still charging $3,000 over invoice for these things. I live in Southern Ohio, and there are 2 dealerships 20 miles apart that have offered me FJ's for $500 over invoice. It would be thousands less for those of you on the west coast to buy the FJ in my region, and have it shipped. I don't know how dealers can sleep at night knowing they are screwing people this way. Charging for $ over sticker should be illegal.

I will keep my eye open and monitor this windshield problem.
