As stated, the bosch sensors could be the problem. I would take them back and replace them with either dealer parts or Denso.
RobXS Have you heard of people replacing the factory sensors with these cheap Bosch ones and have the light stay on? I just don't want to spend another $300 because NAPA won't take back the ones I just put in. On the other hand, if you guys think that it would work, I would gladly buy them. Can you think of anything else I should check before I go buy them.

RobXs, I am trying to learn from this problem. This vehicle was in an accident and on the left front and sat for a year if I remember correctly. The owner has spent a lot of money already and still has the same problem. I know lots of people think you need to buy Toyota sensors or Denso. That is what I would buy also if I were going to buy them, but would you assume he would be likely to get two sensors that NAPA sells all the time for Toyotas and they just will not work on a Toyota? Could he just buy one, reset the code and see if both codes came back again? If only one came back that would prove it was the Bosh sensor. Is it normal for two sensors to fail at the same time or is that more of an indication that there is a real emmisions problem? My recomendation would be to double check they sold him the correct part first (air fuel sensor). If they did supply the correct part, if you think it would make sense, I would spend half the money and make sure it cures the problem on one bank before buying a second one. Or do you think he should just take the loss on the first two and go all out buying the Toyota or Denso brands.

There have been several posts here and if you search other forums you will see a pattern. I would take them back to Napa. They shoud take them back because they sold you something that doesn't work. You can probably support your cause by bring in posts that say that they don't work.
You may also want to test your old sensors to see if they are bad. Typically they go bad and cause the codes, but their job is to look for problems and if they detect an error you get the code.

Did you ever solve the problem you were having? Inquiring minds want to know.
