Default xtrememac roadshow and iphone?

Here is my delima. I own an Eclipse AVN 2454. I want to use the VTR button as an audio/video in. So does anyone own both of these devices? I was planning on buying the roadshow to pump video to my head unit but its not iphone compliant. I wouldnt care if it works though. I hooked up a DLO transpoder ?spl to a nano and it worked fine. Slammed in my iphone and the screen lit up and said not compatible. When I tried to play music through the DLO's Fm transmitter via the iphone it was garbled but the nano was clear. The plan is to use the Roadshow if compatible to plug into the P6 cable of the AVN2454 and get video onto the screen. The AVN was a dealer install. I still need to take the center console apart and access the rca's but I dont want to do so until I know the parts will all work together.

Any thoughts would be helpful.

Thanks. I love the wiring diagrams they have listed on that forum.

Update: Ive been doing some research and it looks like the DLO Homedock deluxe will allow video and audio from an ipod to the AVN. Also, I went into a field and hooked up my iPhone to the DLO transpod and it does transmit a clean FM signal to the HU. I do not want to go the FM transmitter route. I called the guy from CTS mobile and he said that what I want to do can be done. Hook my iphone into the VTR cables in the back of the AVN. However he said you just have to wait 10 sec for the nag screen (device not compatible with iphone) to disappear and you can use it. So I ordered my cables from him and he said that he could have sold me a device which is plug and play for iPods and OEM Toyota Nav units. My problem is is that I own an Eclipse and an iPhone and I wanted video to play on the LCD. The device that CTS mobile sells only plays audio through the HU. He did say that all the controls of the ipod are directly controled by the OEM HU. If anyone is interested here is his phone number. CTS Mobile Howard Ton 661-775-3739.
