Well, not wanting to be viewed as a "lurker," I for one often read many of the posts to learn what I can, but I only respond when I have knowledge or experience on the topic or something else to share.

Hopefully that's what many of us are doing.

We have some super intelligent people who share great advise. We also have issues/problems come up that allow me to prevent or prepare for those problems. TS is very rewarding to me. It's appreciated when people don't stray off topic. It's easier to stay focused when all of the comments pertain to the subject.

I also enjoy the "We Got Jokes" and "BS" threads, but I'm no good at jokes and have more BS than combined memory of all your computers so I try to only respond when I think my comments will either help or add to the discussion. ;-)

Lurking is just fine by me. Too many times in forums just a few members will "blanket" the threads with hunches and guesses or use the threads for their personal chat room. As for me I "try" to restrain myself and only respond to posts that I know 105% of what I'm writing about.

I have but begun to lurk. This is an awsome site. The next best thing since www.telemarktips.com/ Thats one away from being the greatest thing since sliced bread. One of these days I will take the time to open my wallet and officially join the club. As soon as the kids give my more than five minutes at the keys.

As you guys can tell I am new to the board. I'm just trying to get more people to post. thanks for replying! There isn't too much info out there about the 03's yet and I want to talk to other's owners to share info/ideas... I've been checking things out for the last few weeks and this forum in particular isn't very active....

I lurk on the 4Runner forum and don't reply because...
1. My main vehicle is a Tundra.
2. The majority of the posts relate to the '03's and since I have an '87 I can't always give my input.

I'll be sure to post if I have any ?'s or can give input regarding the '87's.
