Do you have aftermarket wheels? The stock wheels would have been either 15 or 16in. If you have the 16s then the 265 70 16 would work. The 17s of the same size would most likely rub without a lift and that would really depend on the offset of the aftermarket wheels.

So your going to be buying new rims and rubber? Let me know how that goes for you. I'm thinking of getting 265 75 R16 BFG A/T's which is a little bigger then the 70/R16's that came with it. It's not much of a differance but I heard that going 2% larger or smaller then the stock size can really mess with your ride.

Anyone else know if this is going to cause problems?

Well there on they did hit a little on plastic mud flap when fully cranked I removed mud flap and there good to go. They do look a little over tire but I might put a 1'' or very small lift on it would be ideal. Any comment appreciated. Id also like to install some after market wheel flares on fender lips.

The tire size they say you can put on is correct. I have a 98 and I put 285 70 17 on it, I had a little rubbing on the front inner fender skirts but it was an easy fix. The tires you want to put on should pose no problem.
