Default 04 4Runner Brake Question

I have an 04 4Runner V8 with 57K miles on it. I was planning on replacing the front rotors to eliminate (reduce?) the problem with a pulsing brake pedal. However, I had a couple of questions:

1) OEM or aftermarket rotors? Any recommended brands or whatever they have at Checker?
2) Should I replace the pads as well? They look like they still have a lot of pad left in them.

Thanks.

Default Re: 04 4Runner Brake Question

I put some Brembo rotors on my 01 4Runner and have been very happy. Can't remember where I got them, but I live in Canada so it probably wouldn't help you much anyway.

And as for the pads I would replace them too, they're cheap and it's not much extra work.

And I use this procedure for bedding-in the new brakes
