Default help needed-calling all genius

Hi there peeps...i have an interesting problem.
I just bought a jeep kit car, built on a nissan chassis with the only mod being the rear diff, an m75, i think it's a toyota diff? the front is an R180 diff with manual locking hubs. Engine is Ford 3lt v6 and gearbox t.c is toyota prado, at least thats what i've been lead to believe. In my research i think it may be a r151f box (how and where do i check this?) but it's the T.C thats baffling me. Where and how do i identify the t.c? Prado's are supposed to be permanent 4wd or am i mistaken? Well for the life of me i cant get drive to the front wheels. I've locked the hubs, put it in hi and low and nothing? If i keep the car in gear in hi or low with the F.hubs unlocked i can turn the fwd drive shaft, lock the hubs and i can't turn it, so the hubs are definately locking...so if im not an absolute fool i'm convinced it's either a broken t.c or a 2wd to 4wd engageable t.c? Hence my need to identify the t.c and this mystery.
Now if i look at the t.c i see alot of wiring and even some rubber hose right at the top connecting things to things on the t.c, the problem is the wiring harness that leaves the gearbox area towards the engine bay just ends off it 2 plugs that are blanked off...could this be my problem or is it indication wiring?
Please help...i'm doing my nut trying to get 4wd so i can go ape in baviaans, got me some big rubber and dont wanna put it on till i sort it out.
Here are some pictures of the t.c, maybe they'll help?
Thanks guys

try posting over at Yotatech.com - they are more experienced in the 4wd stuff.

For that set up I would talk to the guys at Marlin Crawler. They know more about transfer cases than probably anyone.
