Default 06-08 4Runner Limited 4x4 question
Can the running boards that come stock on the 06-08 Limited be removed and replaced with nerf bars? (like the Sport Ed has)

I'm about ready to pick up an 08 Sport and the dealership is swapping the factory bars for the regular running boards.Gonna cost me an extra $380 installed but Mommy and grandbabies need boards more than bars.I'm sure they'll mount in the same holes, probably same bolts.
