05 4runner-air filter- Location?

My wife said she couldn't find the location for the air filter in the engine compartment. (It's dark so I haven't looked yet). I looked in the owners manual & didn't see 1 mention of it. Where is it?

On my 2003 V6 it's on the left side of the engine compartment. The air intake hose connects to the engine cover. At that point there are two horizontal clips in front to release to replace the filter. The back side of the release is hinged so there won't be any clips. Just release the front clips, slightly pull to the left and remove and replace the air filter. Make sure you correctly reinstall the replacement filter in the same position you found the old one. All this is when viewed from the front of the vehicle. You'll see it all in the daylight.
