LB42 I don't know what that is. Leather? I'm guessing maybe because of the price.

The total invoice seems a bit high.
You can go to ConsumerReports.org and for a small fee, they will generate a report for all the options, dealer costs and base price of the vehicle. I think Kellybluebook.com will do that also but not 100% sure.

When I bought my 4R, I had gone to consumer reports and checked all the options they showed for that vehicle. Got what it cost to build, what the dealer kick backs were....so on and so on.
I had all this info in hand and when it was all said and done, I gave the sales person $50 for commission. I saved over $4,500 in doing a little research. I basically said "if you want to sell me this truck, fine but if not I'll go to another dealer. You can screw the next guy that comes in."
They didn't like me very well because I came in "informed". Also, many salespeople try to sell the most in a month. Go towards the end of a month and you might have better luck.
So, do your homework before you buy, you'll save yourself a lot of $$$$$.

I bought a 2007 (new) in Dec 2007 last year. It was a limited with everything you have minus the 4WD but plus the NAV. The sticker was $41K something, I got it for $7K off that price. BTW, it was an "ad car" (meaning one at this price). I had a 2004 that I traded in at $15K w/60K miles on it (I think they screwed themselves, I don't think they could sell it for that plus it needed all 4 tires wich is 1K retail). I would think right now you can get a 4X4 V8 for even more off then $7K, but maybe my wife was right (she said buy it now!). I'm getting about 19MPG on the V8 on my 04 V6 I was getting 21MPG.

I did the same thing Flash did...Local dealer wouldnt budge...so I went to a dealer 65 miles away...I preference ordered...so I got exactly what I wanted and nothing I didnt want. Sticker was close to 37K I paid 33.5k 1.9% interest and got a few extras thrown in too. I know I didnt get "the best" deal because I ordered when they were first coming out but I felt good for doing my research and for getting exactly what I wanted...that "feel good feeling" is worth a million

I ended finding a used 2007 limited 4runner 4wd v6 with Nav. It had 27,300 miles on it and was superclean inside and out. I got it around $28k. I'm so happy with it. I posted pics of it here.
