Default 2003 Drivers Seat

Does anyone else think the drivers seat in the 2003 4Runner is uncomfortable? After about 30 minutes of driving my legs start to hurt.

Could I replace the seat foam?

You could go to a trim shop and get them to rework the foam. You could do it yourself with a few hog rings and a set of hog ring pliers. I would leave it to someone who knows what they are doing.

Some days it gets to me too. I also found powder on the floor recently when I was vacuuming out the 4Runner - it turned out to be dried out foam dust. Apparently the seat foam has lost integrity. If we keep it a lot longer I think I'll have the seat re-packed with new foam.

Take Care,
Steve

My 2003 4Runner has the SR5 cloth seats, and they're excellent. I've never had a complaint nor been uncomfortable, even after 16hrs of driving and riding. All three of my Toyota's past and present have had excellent seats. The seat length is about 2" shorter than I'd like, probably to accommodate women who usually have shorter legs, but every manufacturer seems to be the same.
