4RunnerGeneral discussion forum for the Toyota 4Runner.
This is a discussion thread titled "Got my 4Runner!", within the 4Runner forum, part of the SUV Forums category.
I was recently looking for a 2008 4Runner Limited and was getting outrages quotes. So my wife happen to stumble upon a super clean used 2007 Limited V6 4WD. It had about 27,300 miles which is a lot but it's just so clean and runs smooth I'm completely happy with it. I got it at $28k which is about $14k less than the 2008's I was quoted for. Granted I wanted a v8 but I'm happy with the 23.1mpg highway drives I'm getting so far. Man I love this 4Runner!!! Here are some pics I took.. what do you all think?
Flashgordon, awesome truck. We have the same color correct? I'm not sure what color mine is because sometimes it looks gray and sometimes it looks blue. Do you know what toyota calls this color?
Congrat! I bought my new 2006 4Runner for 37K. It's a V8 powered limited with everything except NAV and 4x4. I average about 20-22 mpg on the highway with cruise control.

Let the modding begin!
The color is Galactic Gray Mica/code is FB13.

Color is Gallactic Gray, however the code isn't FB13. The FB13 code describes an interior color (I don't recall which off the top of my head). Color codes are three digits (well, four technically) with Toyota. An example is 202 (or 0202) which is black. Or my Tundra is 01D6 which is Silver Sky Metallic. The Gallatic Gray should be in the 01 category, which covers silver and grays. Unless this is handled differently in other parts of the country. But I know that's how it's done across both the Toyota and Lexus line up in this region. Although I have been out of the dealership for over a year so I'm not certain...
It is one sharp looking truck! I have always liked the style of the 4Runner, but feel like the floor is too high and like it's a little crammed. But still a very sweet ride nonetheless!

Thanks JBK23, RobXS, starnes04 (same to you ), and jdmsoarer! tundradg! Thanks and thanks for the info regarding the colors.
I'm still waiting for an opportune time to take it off roading. Man time is such constraint when you have a family. I told my little girls: "Hey you see that mountain right there? Well, in this truck, we are going up it!" and they are like: "Nooooooooooo daddy.. that's toooooo scaaaaryy!" Oh well, another time....
