Input / Opinions re:2004 4Runner - Toyota Tundra Forums : Tundra Solutions Forum

I am getting ready to finalize a deal on a Black 2004 Ltd 4Runner with navigation system. Anything I should look for or be aware of? Is the warranty transferable? The vehicle is a V8 w/ 35k miles. This is a private sale, is 16k a reasonable sale price?

That sounds like a good price for a LTD 4runner !

Thanks for the reply. I've checked around and the price seems reasonable. The vevicle has everything that was available for the '04 models. The remote and wireless headsets in the rear are still wrapped in their original packaging. From what I've read so far, there doesn't seem to have been many issues with the '04's I will need tires in the near future, so I'll need to start researching tire options. Should pick it up this week.

sounds like a steal. Just check the tags on the body panels to make sure they are all there and match. That way you know for sure that it hasn't been in an accident.

Everything worked out well. I purchased the vehicle the other day. It even had a Toyota Platinum Warranty that was transferrable. Warranty is good till 2010. Now I just need to get the warranty transferred. I've called the dealer a couple of times and was told they'd check and get back to me. I'll call Toyota direct tomorrow. Thanks for the feedback. Now I have a 2000 V6 4x4 Limited to sell.

I hope you are not calling Koons. Good luck with them. Ourisman in Ffx isn't much better, but the one in Chantilly seems pretty responsive.
