Default Considering '06 4Runner

I currently have a '05 Tundra DC and am thinking of getting a 4Runner as well. The one I am thinking of is an '06 with about 56k miles. I was concerned that I might have to change the timing belt at 90k like in the Tundra, but then read that the newer 4Runners have a chain instead of a belt. How do these hold up?

Also, what else should I consider for maintenance expenses ? Any recommendations that I can use to barter with the dealer would be great to know. The vehicle is certified so I would get a warranty until at least 2012 or when I reach 100k (only 44k more). I am concerned about brake wear, tires, etc. Anything else?? Thanks

Negotiate with them on the warranty. There's a member TOG that was selling the warranty at a discounted price. You may want to check him out. Other than that, 4Runners last for ever.

The V8 4Runner is a belt. I believe the V6 has a chain.....
