2003 Toyota 4Runner TAC problem.
My vehicle has been sitting in storage for awhile and when I started the vehicle it it statred roughly and then just idles. When you push on the gas pedel it doesnt accelerate but it'll shift into gears. it idles at 1000 rpm and only reaches 1500 rpm when you push on the gas. I had it looked at and a code P2118 was pulled from it. It is in reference to the TAC or Throttle Actuator Control. I looked it up and it said the vehicle would go into a 'safe mode' if the TAC doesnt recieve enough power. Does anyone know how to fix the TAC on a 2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 4WD?
