1999 4Runner , is it worth it?

There is a 1999 SR5 4x4 Fully loaded 4runner for sell for 7,000$
It has 120,000 miles on it it has 2 owners. The one that owns it now is a mechanic .
It has 5 new tires( the spare is new too) new hoses,breaks,belts and some other stuff, The Body and Interoir is in awesome shape.(he said he will give me a warranty tough his shop that he owns for it too)

is he asking to much for this ?
I only have around 8 grand to spend on a car and i'm looking for something
that will last me 3-4 years and be good in the cold winters of Maine


Any help in this would be awesome
