I guess it all depends on your perspective. It is a large vehicle that is a bit top heavy. If you were driving a sports car before I can understand your feelings. The 4 runner will never be a big winner on a slalom course. There are things you can do to firm up the steering. You can change the shocks, buy larger diameter wheels and tires, or something as inexpensive as increasing the air pressure. Another thing you can do is have the alignment checked. If your caster is close to 0 then that can cause wander. Have it adjusted as high as possible.
