Lightbulb What can I replace my 04 4runner JBL OEM head unit with?

I have a 04 4runner with the JBL CD/cassette player. The illumination backlight in the system just went out so I am thinking of upgrading. I am just wondering:

1-What are my options to fit the OEM trims?
2-If I install something other then OEM will my OEM radio controls on the steering wheel and my rear overhead system still function?
3-Is there a way to just install the OEM navigation screen in my 4runner and have everything function?

THANKS EVERYONE

I recently installed a Sony CDX-GT630UI that I ordered online from Crutchfield.com. They include complete instructions for take-apart, and the proper mounting bracket. I also had to order a PAC Toyota amplifier interface, and I added the PAC SWI-PS which allows the steering wheel controls to function. I don't know about the rear overhead though. This is what it looks like:
