Default Michlien Latitude or LTX M/S 2

Trying to decide between the Michlien Latitude or LTX M/S 2
Latitude only about $9.00 more per tire.
LTX suppose to be a little better for snow and is a newer model tire
I only get maybe one snow day a year on average so not really a issuse.
These are also a lot different than the LTX A/T2 which only has a 500 treadwear rating.
The two above both have a 720 treadwear rating.
Salesman is pushing the LTX M/S 2 but maybe because the latitude is on backorder.

Thanks for any suggestions

That would be a coin flip for me. I would doubt you would notice any difference between the two. If you don't go off road and deal very little with snow and ice, I would probably lean toward the latitude. The LTX M/S2 is really not any different than the old LTX M/S. The LTX does have a 5K longer warranty.

Thumbs up Re: Michlien Latitude or LTX M/S 2

I just put new Latitudes on my 2006 4runner back in July. I had wanted the LTX because I had them on my previous truck, but there were on back order, so I took the Latitudes. I'm plenty happy with them so far. They are quieter and get better MPG than the stock BFGs, and the did great in our flooding rains the last two weeks.
