About LinkBacksMy '99 4Runner with 145K on it has started to seep oil from the valve covers. My local shop (who I completely trust with all my servicing) wants $350-400 to do the job. Not feeling that rich right nowI know there is a bit of time removing things just to get to the valve covers, but is it that bad of a DIY job?

How much of a PITA is changing out valve cover gaskets? 1999 4Runner SR5 4X4, V6, Auto, stock other than Sony stereo, leather seats, and real burl wood trim.
