2004 4Runner standard theft deterent system
Hi,
I just purchased a 2004 4Runner SR5 V8 (Titanium metallic/stone).
The vehicle does not have any alarm upgrade option. My question here is, with the standard equipment on the 2004 4Runners, if someone opens the door without the key, does it suppose to sound the horn?
The salesman say it suppose to sound the horn if someone open the door without the key.
Would someone please clarify this?
Also if I need to install an alarm upgrade system such as the option code PN on this vehicle, approximately how much would this cost?
