I just did the first oil change (1,000 mi) on my shiny new V6 SR5, and I have to say it is the easiest I've experienced. I thought my 2001 Volvo S60 2.4T was well designed because its paper oil filter cup was upside down under the engine, but the upright, easy to access 4Runner filter with the little spill catcher with a drain plug is sweet. Also liked the little access door thru the skid plate to the oil pan drain. Funny how you can just tell your truck is happier with a belly full of clean oil.
