Question Seeking Power Window info / Wiring diagram for 1992 4runner

I have googled up & down the internet searching for "power, window,
switch, wiring diagram, repair,..." etc. and have found nothing.

I'm usually pretty adept with a search engine, but this one just
has been a combination of too much or too little in the search results.

Anyway...
1992 4Runner passenger side forward power window.
It quit working. I tried jiggling and repeatedly engaging the switch,
but driver and passenger controls.
I pushed & released the switch to deactivate the controls
(child safety switch) repeatedly.

At one point the window moved just a tiny bit when I was
engage/disengaging the driver side window swicth.

I took the door panel off, removed the window motor & it
runs strong, smooth & quiet when supplied power (in both
directions).

I verified no power is at the plug nearest the window motor
when the switch is engaged up or down (tried with both the
driver and passenger window control switches).

So I know that no power is getting to the motor.

All other windows function fine... so there is power to the
other windows.

I'm looking for advice on further tests &/or an online wiring diagram for
the 1992 4Runner power window circuits.

Thanks,
Mark (42) Kanzler

As you mention all the other window work fine, that tell me that your main power source for your power windows are ok. May be you can try to check wheather both switch from your driver or passanger side are ok? because the switch sometime broken for similar case like this.

I'm actually working on borrowing switch assemblies from a friend with the same truck.
(mainly the driver side door w/ four switches in it)

I figure if I can try good parts w/o buying them I can narrow down the problem causes.

This might help. It is specifically for the rear window but it has some nice schems and a lot more cool info. Check it out.

email me at ron@sutter.co and I can send a copy of the wiring diagram out of my 1991 service manual if that will help.
