Default 2005 4Runner DRL

Hi,
I bought the 2005 4Runner, there is no DRL and I would like to add to my car. The Dealer told me they can't do it. Does anyone know how to add an DRL to 2005 4Runner (the Yellow where the turning signal locate)
thank you so much

I've been doing some research on swapping the DRL on my 01 4Runner from the headlights to the turn signals, and looking at the wiring diagrams for the newer 4Runners they use a combined DRL relay/turn signal flasher module. If you bought this module you may be able to rewire the turn signals to DRL. Considering all Canadian 4Runners come with DRL installed yours might even have the wiring already there.

Why not just run your headlights which is really more effective cause they are brighter---

your not going to burn out your stockers any sooner--heck they last forever.

You're talking about the amber lights by the fogs right? You're dealer actually said they couldn't do it? I believe it's just a relay that needs to be installed.

I found this thread on the topic, didn't read the whole thing but looks like this is what you want
