Default Spark Plug Change 2000 4Runner Sport

Hello again,

I am going to perform a tune up on my new (to me) 2000 4Runner Sport 4X4 V6. In my old Tacoma which had the same engine, I used to put in the Bosch platinums and liked them, but am not sure what to put in the 4Runner. Do you guys think the Platinum Pluses, or the Plus 4's are better, or should I stay stock? The fit and finish of the stock plug doesn't seem like anything to write home about.

Laura

I have used NGK and Denso without a problem. I have also used Bosch as well. I really don't think you will see any difference. One plug I will never use in a Toyota again is a Champion. Oddly, Toyota used both NGK and Denso on v6 Tacomas. One bank had NGK, the other had Denso.

Use the STOCK PLUG. I can't count the number of driveability problems and check engine lights caused by someone using BOSCH plugs in a Toyota.
I have won bets from people using Bosch plugs vs the Stock plug.
Like ROBXS said the Denso and NGK's work well too.
