Default Home Link

Hi all, new here to this forum and to the Toyota 4Runner, just got a 2006 Limited 4 Runner loaded, here is my question I'm trying to link the Home Link, with my garage door opener per the books instructions not having any luck, my door opener is the roaming code type, any suggestions for this please.
Thanks

Hold the two outside buttons on the homelink until they are flashing relatively fast.

Then take your garage door opener and hold it within 2 inches of the homelink buttons and press and hold the opener and the homelink button you wish to program. Hold both until flashing then release.

Now assuming you have rolling code, go to your garage door opener and press the training button that should be on the back of the thing. You now have 30 seconds to go back to the truck.

Now press, hold the homelink button for a second and release. If the garage door opens/closes you are done. If not repeat. Took twice on mine. I think you can do this one more time if it doesnt work.

good luck
