Default Hi Guys

Hi Guys,

Just joined the forum as I'm getting a 2000 4runner limited. Any tips from experienced folks out there? By the way which is the best manual to get for simple to advanced repair/maintenance procedures?

Mike

Default Thanks for this site :)

I have a 2002 4Runner Badlands, up here near Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
I just made my last payment on it last week, and a few day before that, some lame "crack-heads" or stupid kids broke into my truck and stole my cd's and my sub box, I had 2 JBL 12", while I was playing baseball.
Anywho...
the repair shop replaced the drivers door window, and now when I rool up the window with the "Auto" feature it rolls up to the top then rolls back down to about the half way mark? So is it half way up or half way down...
So I guess this is the saftey feature with the auto up? can these window switches be reset?
Thanks I would like to figure it out and rub it in the nose of the repair guys LOL... SP I will soon post of my Steller BLue Bandlands Baby Sk8

Sounds like your glass needs programming.
Check your owners manuel for the different options available. On some models you can hold the window button in the up position and turn ignition to the on position and it will reset. mike320

Thank you and Hello,

Yes, I picked up my fresh new 2006 4Runner Limited AWD Pure White w/ Gray Interior on 09/15/2006. However, I see a button on my radio which is labeled SAT. Is this vehicle ready for a satellite radio? Please help guide me to install the best for less. I'm proud to be an owner of another fine product from Toyota.

Thanks for the help.

Sincerely,

jebbj19

Hi all!

Just bought a new-to-me '93 4Runner with 80k miles. It's a V6/5sp with all the goodies, and was lovingly owned by my girlfriend's sister since new. It's in excellent condition and can't wait to put the next 80k miles on!

I own a silver '99 SR5 4Runner with 121,000 miles on it, by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. I mainly use it to get to and from work, but every once and a while I hook up my boat to it and go fishing.

Hi everyone, i just had my first 5K oil change at the dealership. Is there any ste where I can find DIY? I asked the dealer and told me the reset for oil change is located in the dashboard. I have a lifetime oil change for free for that dealer but If I move out of state that will not covered. I need to know if there is a DIY for all the preventative maintance. BTW I have a white 2006 4Runner SR5 4X4 with 5K.

thanks everyone.
