Hello everyone, new to the forum. I purchased my first Toyota about 3-4 months ago. 2000 4runner SR5 113,000 mileson it and I love it! Check engine light came on last night and I started looking around and found this forum. I read a few different answers, and I am going to go to autozone to have them check it tonight. Then I will have a better idea of what I need to do. I hope it is just a sensor! Any suggestions please let me know.

Hello all! I bought my Galactic Gray 4Runner in March and have 6500 miles on it now. I love the 4 liter V6 and since I don't trust anyone else to do oil changes, the on-top oil filter placement is really nice. I drive 100 miles RT to work and am getting up to 23 MPG as per onboard computer. "Uncle Frank" at Kendall Toyota was a pleasure to deal with. No nonesense at all. I am a former GM man and happy to be with the very reliable Toyota now. Only modification I have in mind right now is to make the 12 volt power receptacles "on" all the time for GPS and Bluetooth charging.

Hello all,
I own a 1997 4Runner Limited 4x4 with approximately 130,000 miles. I really like the truck, but my wife drives it all the time because she "loves" the truck.
I put new tires on the truck and I'm having a problem with vibrations between 60-70 mph.
Last weekend I hooked up a utility trailer and hauled a heavy piece of equipment. The tire vibration was gone. When I disconnected the trailer the vibration was back.
With the trailer connected, and the "lifting" of weight off the front end, does it mean that I have an alignnent problem? Or would the vibrations go away with the trailer/equipment weight even it caused by tire balance problems?
How can I find and print a copy of DJ's Alingment Specs?

Hope I can get some help. I have a 98 Forerunner and am in the process of having a new starter put on. I have not had much trouble with it except for the antenna that won't retract and I think it is pulling my battery down. It has done that for a couple of years now. My original securikey was damaged and I have been using a regular key. Now I can't get the alarm to go off so that I can get the starter put on. We had to remove the post from the battery.
