Hi EDGE. Believe it or not my wife! She only wanted Galatic Grey and around here Dianne had the best price by far... but only a V6 on the lot. The slightly better gas mileage was a factor as well.

V8, 4x4, SR5, in Stratosphere Mica (Why can't they simply call it dark blue ?) with Taupe cloth interior (same here, what happened to "Tan" ?). Appearance package, Moon roof, JBL stereo, running boards.
I fell in love with the i-Force V8 in my Tundra, now I get the same engine with a 5 speed Auto ! I can't wait until I have it broken in...
Another '03 newbie here, but not a 4Runner newbie. I recently sold my '91 SR5 V6 4Runner with 199000 miles on it to someone I made *promise* to take good care of it for the next 200K
I'm now the proud owner of a 2003 Sport Edition V8 in Stratospheric Mica. I've had it for a month and absolutely love it.
I look forward to reading the board.

Got my 2003 Limited Wednesday: Titanium/Stone V6. Man, what a vehicle! Sold my '98 SR5 as part of the deal. There is simply no way to compare these vehicles. The '03 exudes quality, and the space increase will be very much appreciated. We are going to be very happy with this vehicle.
This has been my year for vehicles; got a '03 Nissan 350Z in November; what a rocket. Can't decide which one I like better, but they both have lots of personality. I'm one lucky dude.
I just swpped my 02 for an 03. Man what a difference! Love it so far, but time and miles will tell if its worthy of the Toyota emblem thats been placed on the front of it! MY 03
Hello Everybody. Well, I'm sure I'm buying a 4runner but I'm not sure about which engine to get! I've test driven both and quite frankly the V8 is SWEET! I'm absolutely going 4X4 (since it would be a 2runner otherwise!), but one side of my brain says the 6 is plenty of power, the other says go for the V8!
I'm not going to do extensive towing. I'm sure this is not a new question in this forum so I'll look around at some posts before I ask too many questions.
One question I do have for starters is about the edmunds.com "TMV" price... my dealer says that it's below his cost and he'd be loosing money to sell it to me at the TMV... I must admit that the TMV is below invoice minus holdback, perhaps there's a revenue stream I'm unaware of?
