Default Fluids Help

Hi
I just brought my first TOYOTA 2002 4 RUNNER.
I would like to know if anybody knows how much oil the v6 holds.
I also would like to know what coolant it takes. It looks orange like the gm coolant.Thank you your help.

Thanks
Richard

Hey Richard

Your engine is the 3.4 liter like my 2004 Tundra. The engine holds 5 quarts of oil. The coolant is probably long life coolant. Mine is the same color but preston has an "any color, any make" long life replacement coolant so color isn't that critical any more. Enjoy.

The only place to get the exact same coolant that's in it is from a Toyota dealer, it's about $18/gallon. Like Tricnic said, aftermarket companies make a "universal" coolant that they claim you can mix with anything...
