Default 2007 4Runner issues

Picked up a new 4Runner last week (Limited 4WD V8, Rear air suspension, XREAS, etc.) and have a few issues already. I'm curious if anyone else has ever heard of them or seen this before:

1) Driver's side of the truck is about 1/2 to 3/4ths of an inch lower than the passenger side when on a level surface. Its noticable when you walk up to the truck from the front or the rear.

2) Power steering issues. Most people talk about the late model 4Runner's steering being a bit "light". I find mine is just about right on the highway, but rather stiff/heavy in parking lot maneuvers. In addition, it seems to be unbalanced a bit. It takes a bit more effort to turn right than left (left is fairly smooth/easy, right is about 10 - 20% stiffer).

Anyone? My dealership's service department has called Toyota about the height issue and is waiting to hear back, but I haven't brought up the steering issues yet.

(Don't get me wrong...GREAT truck...just want to get these things resolved)

Many 4th gen 4runners hang low to on the driver’s side. Mine does it sometimes. Some say it is because the gas tank is on that side. However, a full tank of gasoline should weight 142 lbs, if I did the math correctly. So I do not believe this the tank is responsible.

I will be interested to hear what the dealer says.

I picked my 4Runner (2007 Sport V8) last week and I measure 1/4 inch lower on the driver side as well. My garage is level, all 4 tires have the same pressure and I have 3/4 tank of gas. I do not have anything of significance in the car. I personally do not notice when looking at it from the rear. I also have not noticed any difference in steering effort. If I do I will post.
