Thumbs up Re: Upgrade your early Tundra Brakes In 1 hour

Well I had the TSB completed yesterday on my 2001 2WD. I use the contact for parts MEvang used on this post. Semi-loaded capilers 2 New Toyota factory Brake Lines 2 New Brembo Rotors (the old ones were not that bad, a little warped) New Bendix C pads Shim kit New Bolts for Capilers. I have had a brake noise since last Nov, after I replaced the pads on the old Caplilers. So far the feel on the TSB upgrade is great. Better brakeing power, cut out the varibation I was feeling (however I have not complete a hard stop yet over 45 mph) and NO BRAKE NOISE. The cost of the upgrade was worth it. Thanks to all the TSB posters. IT gave me all the info I needed in order to complete the TSB. I had my local mech to do the job. It was stright forward as noted in this (upgrade in one hour post). I will keep an update as to how it comes along here in the next little while.
