Hello everybody, new here, reading about your problems. I have a 05 sport 4x4 dc with 44,000 miles. Yeah I do a lot of driving. I've had the same promlem on and off since day one and dealer said it was normal. Finally last week it was doing it all the time, I got tired of the dealer when I brought it in again and told me I needed a new clutch so I brought it to a local trans guy who has done worked on other trucks for me in the past. He told me all clutch components had to be ordered from the dealer no aftermarket parts yet. He also said the dealer recommends changing the clutch fork. Sounds kinda fishy. Never had to see a clutch fork changed when replacing clutch. All other manuals I drove lasted over 100,000 on original clutch. Once items come in I'm going to compare the clutch forks.
